Sonoma – Jordan Krawitz

December 13, 2012

Have a quick post in between finals prep and the Hobbit. Jordan Krawitz emailed me this song a week ago, but due to unforeseen obstacles, like getting robbed and finals, I haven’t had a chance to really listen to it until recently. I’m glad I finally got the chance. This is some top quality prog house. The hook is as good as or better than most of the commercial stuff out there today, and Krawitz provides this song free of charge. Jordan Krawitz has worked with the group Upper West in the past but this track is all Krawitz’s. The last 35 seconds are a bit repetitive in a boring way, but those would be the seconds left to transition with during a set, so that’s really not a downside. I didn’t really have any press photos to work with so I added an abstract watercolor image which I find fitting because of the soft way the colors blur together, much like the synths of the hook of this song. Enjoy.
