Suddenly Mashups. Everywhere. XXXVIINovember 11, 2011
It’s been a couple of weeks, so I’ve collected the best mashups to share with you now. Ready for the weekend? Let’s start it right!
In a hip hop mood? I didn’t think I was, then I listened to this track over on the Music Phoenix and decided that I totally was. DJ Kontrol picked a lovely instrumental from Rich Boy for this Weezy track. Enjoy!
So I decided to stick with the hip hop sound. Who doesn’t love this guy’s vocals? And the background is too groovy not to nod your head to. Freqnik posted this track with a whole slew of DJ names on it, not sure who to credit other than him. Simply classy. Give it a listen. EDIT: DJ Kontrol blended this one.
Sorry, but I need to post two more tracks with Usher and Guetta. So skip the next two if you’re sick of it. If not, you need to hear these, they’re great. Mashup-Germany gives it a Marcy Playground makeover and man does it work. Check it out.
The Fabulous Beatmashers take Usher a bit faster with this Swedish House Mafia interpretation. Enjoy!
Ok. So I have trouble with the second set of vocals on this track (at the beginning) but as soon as I pass that, this track is pure bliss. DJ Trademark pumps an awesome electro dance track out of this. Give the whole track a listen.
Guess who’s back? It’s the kings of mashups, the White Panda! And they come bearing an awesome version of Dillon Francis’ latest. Check it out!
And I just had to finish with this one. It especially gets my party flow going because of the No Doubt! Titus Jones is pushing my 90s buttons with that. And Gwen Stefani fits rather well with Britney, which makes sense if you follow Stefani’s career… Plus he ends with Sum 41. Now I get my early 2000s (aughts?) buttons pushed. Love it. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
