Suddenly Mashups. Everywhere. XXXII, Part I

September 30, 2011

Well I have a surprise for you all to help you celebrate this Friday. Can you guess what it is? I hinted in the title… Oh you’ll figure it out in a bit, don’t be too hard on yourself. Happy Friday y’all! A big thanks to The Burning Ear for supplying many of these mashups in their Mashup roundup. OK, mashup time!

Here’s another spin of the hottest beat of the summer, “Levels”. Mashup-Germany gives his mashup a different direction by using a remix of the original leaked sample from Avicii that eventually turned into “Levels”. Well done. Check this out!

3lau‘s blown up in a big way and I for one am very pleased. His knack for drawing tons of songs into one comes with great responsibility to make tons of songs. Here’s another awesome track from him drawing mainly upon female pop tracks. Enjoy!

Girls Who Save The World (Alesso Feat. Adele, Britney, SHM, Dragonette, Nadia) – 3lau / Or from Mediafire

The Hood Internet‘s niche seems to be rap on indie tracks. I like this niche. Here’s another successful track from them. The chorus makes the whole song feel balanced when the rap without may feel a little one note. Try it out for yourself.

World Of Swimsuits (The Cool Kids vs Ford And Lopatin) – the Hood Internet / Or from Mediafire

DOSVEC supplies another driving song for you. I guarantee you’ve never heard Kelis like this before. The bass is unbelievably repetitive yet strangely addictive. I’m hooked. You? My one quibble is the drop of all sound in the middle. A little too odd for me. But the rest of the track is pure gold. Enjoy.

Stupid Milkshake (Kelis vs Wallpaper) – DOSVEC / Or from Mediafire

All right, let’s back off the bass for a bit. Here’s a slick little progressive house number from ZHU. Beltek supplies the length for the song (7 and a half minutes) and Calvin Harris provides a hook in the form of his great vocals. Check it out!

Flashback to ZHU’s Eclipse (Beltek vs. Calvin Harris) – ZHU / Or from Mediafire

Let’s follow that with a mashup using a very familiar instrumental for less familiar version of another familiar song. We’re all familiar here right? Inspired Flight is really good at remixing not just original work. Enjoy.

Wonderwall Remix – Inspired Flight / Or from Mediafire

The White Panda has more for you. And man is it good. Not much else to say other than that yet again, they’ve knocked one out of the park. Have a great Friday!
