Shatter Soundtrack

June 17, 2011

It has recently been brought to my attention that the game Shatter has an excellent soundtrack. I don’t have the game and have never played it, but several people emailed me specifically about the music in this game, so I went ahead and checked it out. And I love it. It’s a brilliant mix of genres, with some trance, some alternative, some rock, and some house influences. It’s what Ratatat‘s LP4 should have been. It is available for streaming at the artist’s bandcamp, and you can also pay what you want to download it (over the starting price of $2.99). I’ve been listening to it on repeat for pretty much the last few days, and I absolutely love it. Some of my favorites are Neon Mines, Kinetic Harvest, and Krypton Garden. You should stream a few of the tracks and then, if you like it, go ahead and give them some money! They certainly deserve it.
