Suddenly Mashups. Everywhere. V

February 18, 2011

Welcome back to Friday, folks! Are you ready for it? I’ve been ready for Friday since early Tuesday. But thank goodness it’s Friday again, and to celebrate, yep, more mashups!

I’m going to start off with a slick Brenton Duvall track. Wale makes this chorus a very celebratory song. As usual Duvall’s synth arrangements and simple 808 drums satisfy completely. Check it out

World Tour (Weezy, Wale, Dre) – Brenton Duvall / Or from Mediafire

Next up is a depressingly lyric’d but well orchestrated mashup of Muse. Really enjoyable and full of the fun electronic voices.

Undisclosed DJ’s – Muse vs. Plump DJ’s / Or from Mediafire

You may be able to tell I’m rushing this post a little this week, but I want to go hang out with people so I’m being short with the descriptions. I promise the tracks are as quality as normal though. Here’s a happier-ish one. This track is certainly more peppy. I mean Kelly Clarkson and Ozzy? Awesome (and that’s not all). Dan Mei & Marc Johnce rock! Listen to hear the rest.

My Life on the Crazy Train Sucks (So What?) – Kelly Clarkson vs. Pink vs. Ozzy Osbourne vs. Daft Punk / Or from Mediafire

Alright this one has too many uncredited samples for me to really talk about them all, but I mean banjo and Sean Kingston? Cool. And. Of course. Wonderwall.

Singularity – Norwegian Recycling / Or from Mediafire

Next is a more party mood song, my kind of mood right now. Kung Fu meets There It Is! Verrry fun.

Let’s Kung Fu Tonight – EWF Vs Carl Douglas Vs Ce Ce Peniston / Or from Mediafire

I Gotta Feeling meets More Than a Feeling. Nuff said.

I Got More Than A Feeling [LongVersion] – Boston vs Black Eyed Peas / Or from Mediafire

Estelle & Kanye West, Rihanna, Flo-Rida & T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco & Matthew Santos, Madonna & Timbaland & Justin Timberlake, Ne-Yo, Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Danity Kane, Leona Lewis, Kardinal Offishal & Akon. Sound like a good line up? Let’s put them all into a single song, ok? Thanks DJ Earworm!

No More Gas – DJ Earworm / Or from Mediafire

And a bonus mashup this week because, hey! It’s my birthday! Found this yesterday on Culture Bully via the Hype Machine.

Birthday In The U.S.S.R. (BRAT Productions Mashup) – the Beatles / Or from Mediafire

  1. I like that when you make Muse more electronic, it basically becomes Depeche Mode.

    • huh. yeah!

  2. Yes! I’ve been waiting for this.

By the way… One of my friends knows Brendon Duvall personally. He just told me. …Small world.

    • ha cool. i wonder if he’s as amusingly douchey as he comes across in his youtube presence…
